Hi Carmelia

great that we met at athgo; could you list some priority interests ; that will remind me which members here might gain most from talking or doing something with you

also friends of mine try to come over to silicon valley once every 6 weeks - if you are ever up thqt way please tell us so we can try and coordinate diaries

as you probably know athgo is centred at los angeles- while i have various social movemebt connections there I have never found enough to merit a visit but if you think thats something where we could meet combined netwotk friends that could give me excuse i need

carmelia very timely to hear from you- are you on skype which I find a good way to have a first conversation - i am at chrismacraedc
are you still based quite near los angeles and athgo- pls could you send us a reminder of what you like focusing on
from 1972 when dad first saw students testing out online learning networks all fathers writings in The Economist and elsewhere focused on designing a local and global world that valued millennials as the most creative generation ever -this wasnt blind optimism one of the last to be mentored directly on keynes end-poverty rationale for being an economist dad was well aware that if humanity did not collaborate on this exponential impact  the opposite system consequenec ie orwellian endgame would spiral ever less sustainably

members at myeconomics.ning.com include

amy  who loves connecting chinese and west coast americans
mostofa who is starting the biggest pro-youth summit ever convened by a young person and who has interned with muhammad yunus for a lot of last 7 years
bernardo in chile who started university partnerships around yunus social business training but now tries to connect curriculum the pope and jim kim, would approve of

over the next month a primary conversation topic of myeconomics will be what do millennials see as their top 10 open learning channels given the era of spending 4000 times more on borderless communications technologies is peaking around everything we are free or not to do or communicate or learn
